UK Music, the collective voice of the UK’s music industry, is looking for new members from across the UK, with an enthusiasm for campaigning, to join its Futures Group.
Established in 2016, the UK Music Futures Group includes young people from across the sector, including labels, publishers, live, managers, lawyers, producers, artists and songwriters.
UK Music wants to ensure it is representing the breadth of the UK and is looking for six new members to represent Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the Midlands, the North of England and the South of England.
The Futures Group can play a key role in bringing about positive and long-lasting change in the music industry.
I am excited for what is to come and can only keep encouraging my peers and mentors to do the same. We must be the change.
Futures Group Chair, Amanda Maxwell

There will be opportunities to feedback on UK Music projects, attend events and contribute to other meetings and pieces of work.
All members of the group will be expected to follow the terms of reference and consider all their work through the lens of sustainability and diversity.
Representatives can stay in the group for a maximum of three years, though commitment is only required for a minimum of two years.
